The Pacific Employment Relations Association is a regional association of the International Employment Relations Association, iera.net.au. Its principal focus is to bring together academics, students and practitioners with a focus on teaching, researching and practising employment relations in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Rim. Its membership is open to interested academics, students and practitioners.
PERA hosts an annual conference which brings together those interested in all aspects of employment relations, research, teaching and practice. The 2010 Conference will be held on the Gold Coast at the Courtyard Marriott from Monday 15th November to Thursday 18th November.
PERA also publishes a journal, the Employment Relations Record. Papers for refereeing are welcome on any aspect of employment relations, not just those related to Australia, New Zealand or the Pacific Rim.
